Sonia Ventura Mee, Director of Counseling and Community Services, was named an "Unsung Heroine for 2007" for her tireless efforts in the community by the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women.

The entire Outreach team was recognized for its services to their constituents at the 2007 annual meeting of the Community Health Education Center.

Alex Nothern, Lauren McPerson and Natalie Tarbet represented the health center in the Waltham Partnership for Youth Community Spelling Bee, tieing for first place with the League of Women Voters, Waltham.
