Do we see the same doctor for all well-child visits?

Generally yes. But if for any reason that is not possible, the child’s medical chart is always up-to-date, so any provider can see your child and give the care he or she needs.

How does it work with two facilities?

We make every effort to see your child at the site you customarily visit; several appointment slots are kept open each day for emergency visits. However, if it is not possible for your child to be seen at your “home” site, an appointment will be made at the other site.

In an emergency, call 911 or take the child directly to the Emergency Room of the nearest hospital.

What is the well-child visit and immunization schedule?

We like to see all children in their first week of life and follow them closely during their first two months. The usual schedule of routine well child visits and immunization schedule is: 2 mo., 4 mo., 6 mo., 9mo., 12mo., 15 mo., 18 mo., 24mo., 30 mo., 36 mo., and yearly after that.  The immunization schedule changes based on the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics but our providers keep track of the changes and make sure that all of our patients receive the recommended vaccinations at the proper times.
