As part of its commitment to provide comprehensive and affordable care to our patients, in Spring 2012 JMSCHC proudly opened the second of its patient pharmacies, at the Waltham facility. The pharmacies deliver the continuity of care, affordability and convenience our patients need and deserve, from basic antibiotics to medications to help patients treat chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and depression.

Each pharmacy is staffed by a licensed, registered pharmacist and a registered pharmacy technician. A native speaker of Spanish is on duty whenever the pharmacy is open.

Our federally qualified 340B pharmacies are able to purchase prescription drugs at great discount, and we pass our savings on to our patients. The pharmacy accepts most major public and private insurances, including Medicare Part D and Health Safety Net (HSN) program. Patients with MassHealth or Health Safety Net pay $1 or $3.65 for their medication.  The pharmacies at JMSCHC are the only pharmacy in their respective communities to accept HSN, making them a vital resource for our many patients who are uninsured.

Our Allston Pharmacy is located at 287 Western Avenue and is conveniently accessible on the #86 and #70 MBTA bus routes.

Our Waltham Pharmacy is located at 564 Main Street, Waltham and is on the #71 line.
